Our Team

Kobugabe Claire Dorcus
Kobugabe Claire Dorcus is a co-founder and the Executive Director of Feed My Lamb Kabarole (FMLK). Claire launched Feed My Lamb Kabarole (FMLK), serving the same adorable orphans and vulnerable children that have been under her care for years through the Ugandan authorities. The dream Claire has been building on has been in progress for over 25 years.
As a young orphaned vulnerable girl herself, God planted the dream of helping the children of Uganda who find themselves in the same predicament as she herself had been. The dream was not realized easily, as you might have experienced yourself if you have had dreams that seem imagined.
Passionate about children’s success, and wellbeing, she devoted her career to teaching and social work. Since she began dreaming about her future, she knew that she wanted to start a ministry to care for children in need. She has devoted her life to caring for the many street children living in Naguru and other slums around Kampala, and now the community of Gweeri just outside of Fort Portal.
She persuaded and engaged guardians to look after the children at night and taught them during the day. In those early years, Claire housed six children in her tiny house even though she had so little to share. After receiving donated land in Fort Portal from her now husband, she has worked tirelessly in the community with leaders, guardians, and funders for the benefit of the children. With the help of the community and other donors, organisation of building structures for Feed My Lamb Kabarole Community School were started in 2015, serving the Gweri community opening in 2016.
Before founding Feed My Lamb, Claire worked as a Kampala Diocese Children coordinator and counsellor, regional coordinator for youth and children with Salvation Army.
Claire is an educator, a counsellor and has over 15 years of experience in conducting children & youth education campaigns. She has conducted training in various parts of Uganda and abroad. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social work and a diploma in education.
Currently, the school has a staff of 11 members, several volunteers and has started implementing a few self-sustainability projects through generous donors like you.

Kenneth Muhumuza
Kenneth is an inspiring youth activist, leader and community changer. He has over 7 years of experience in education and social development. He has volunteered in international organisations including UNICEF and Save the Children.
As a co-founder and program director who is passionate about education and training for social justice, Kenneth has worked with teams to help hundreds of orphans and vulnerable children access education and vocational training, reaching over 5000 individuals, including youth and women.
Kenneth grew up in a poor family; and only managed to attain an education through supporters. Kenneth holds a Bachelor of Science with Education, a Masters in Earth Sciences and various certificates in short-term trainings in project management, sustainable development, and entrepreneurship.
Kenneth is not only motivated by profit but also ambitious to solve societal problems with special interests in education for social justice. Kenneth and the team have a great vision for the future of FMLK, self-sufficiency being our number one priority through business-oriented projects. We envision expanding the Feed My Lamb Kabarole School model to the rest of the country and building schools to help the many vulnerable children.
He strongly believes that conventional academic education can be integrated with vocational and entrepreneurship skills training, a component that is largely missing in many schools around Africa and Uganda. The commitment is to give a more meaningful education, which offers an integrated curriculum that combines the usual academic subjects available at other schools with vocational skills training and business entrepreneurship skills.
